However, the remixes were withdrawn and never released. This white label promo exists in 15 copies, and it may not be an official promo by London Records. It is said that these were made for Pete Tong and his friends.
Q: I've heard about some withdrawn remixes of True Faith-94, what's the story?
A: [Antoine] "The sheet included in my NUOXDJ6 said that Baker rediscovered Let's Go with Barney as they were on vacation. The sheet mentions NUOX6 to contain Lionrock Full Throttle Mix + Vanelli Remix on side A and True Faiht Eschreamer Mix + Dub on side B, NUOXDJ6 to contain Lionrock Full Throttle Mix + Sparse'n'Fast Mix on side A and Vanelli Mix + Dub on side B, and NUXXDJ6 to contain True Faith Eschreamer Mix on side A and Eschreamer Dub on side B. The Escreamer mixes were remixed by Tall Paul.
A Tall Paul remix exists on the CD CreamLive. For some reason his remixes were recalled and never officially released.
An ad in Record Collector listed a white label testpress of True Faith 'white label test press 12" - only 15 existing copies - remixes by Tall Paul'."
Q: Is the catalogue number NUXXDJ6 then?
A: Well, for a while it was believed that the catalogue number was NUXXDJ6, same as the Nineteen63 promo, based on the press sheet. However, the actual catalogue number is TP-1-A for side A and TP-2-B for side B. This could mean that this white label promo is not released by London Records, but rather an unofficial release initiated by Pete Tong. This theory has not been confirmed.
Q: So, what about the acetate?
A: The acetate was cut by Master Room, the pressing house used by London Records, so it seems likely that London Records commissioned the acetate.
