The Niagara University Future Teachers Association of Professional Development is a group dedicated to furthering the interests and understanding of the field of education.  NUFTA also strives to foster a continual relationship among the education department faculty, the professionals in the field outside of the Niagara University community, and ourselves, the members of NUFTA. 

 

bullet Both Graduate and Undergraduate Members are eligible to join NUFTA

 

Member Benefits:

bulletChapter Meetings - an opportunity to meet new friends and learn with old ones
bullet Professional Development and Educational Workshops - an opportunity to make vital connections in the field of education
bulletGuest Speakers - another opportunity to make connections with individuals inside and outside of the field of education
bullet Community Service - an opportunity to give back to the community and help those in need while having fun

Member Requirements:

bulletTo remain a good standing member you must:
bullet Complete 3 hours of community service per semester (graduate students: please contact the secretary regarding)
bulletPay a $20.00 fee for the whole year which includes a t-shirt OR Pay a $10.00 fee per semester
bulletAttend 3 club functions: meetings, workshops, community activities, etc.
