Greetings
to all Weed and Seed community residents and collaborators.
As the newly hired Program Coordinator, I am excited to be
a part of the Niagara Falls Weed and Seed Program. I feel
that the City of Niagara Falls is on the cusp of new and exciting
things to come. Prior to working with Weed and Seed, I worked
in the field of higher education for the past fifteen years.
My passion and expertise involves working with at-risk youth,
college planning, and empowering people through self-awareness
initiatives. This is why I feel as though the Weed and Seed
program is a perfect fit for me. I want to be part of the
rebirth of a dying city that deserves new life, a sense of
direction, and the ability to re-energize people's hope for
a prosperous future. Please feel free to stop in and see our
new office, or contact us regarding any questions, comments
or concerns you may have regarding the Weed and Seed Program
as it relates to your community. |

Franchelle
C. Hart - Community Outreach Worker

My
name is Franchelle C. Hart and I am very excited about being
the new Community Outreach Worker for the Niagara Falls Weed
and Seed Program. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to
be apart of the re-vitalization of Niagara Falls. Previously,
I worked in various aspects of politics such as interning
in U.S. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Hon. Charles B.
Rangel offices on Capital Hill. I have worked with various
grassroots organizations, traveling the country helping to
ensure political, economic and social empowerment for all
citizens. I am a recent graduate of SUNY College at Buffalo
with a degree in Political Science and African/African American
Studies. |

Ann Bennett - Administrative Assistant

My
name is Mary Ann Bennett. I am very pleased to be a part of
the Weed and Seed family. Although I am working in a temporary
capacity, I hope to remain connected to the Weed and Seed
program. My background is clerical, and I have more than 37
years of experience with several area companies, including
Occidental Petroleum Corporation and DuPont Chemical Company.
I look forward to the time spent in this job learning about
the Weed and Seed Program and its contribution to the community. |
