A public, French speaking, urban university with an enrolment of approximately 40,000 full and part-time students and nearly 2,000 faculty members. UQAM’s seven faculties and sectors integrate strong international components and information technologies into their educational mission and offer students a broad range of academic programs and study abroad opportunities. UQAM’s School of Business administration, which includes the Department of Accounting, is the largest in North America in terms of student enrolment and also has the most graduates, providing an excellent potential for networking and international activities. More than 200 professors and 400 lecturers (many of whom are drawn from the business community) teach at the School of business administration. Tailored to students’ needs and experiences, the learning methods incorporate theory, assignments, case studies, and simulations.
