Internship Opportunities for College/University Students

The Castellani Art Museum offers a limited number of internships for college and university students in the areas of museum studies, communications, education and art history. Interested students should send a letter of inquiry with a resume to Kate Koperski, Director, Castellani Art Museum, P.O. Box 1938, Niagara University, NY 14109.

Volunteers (Age 15 and over)

  • Museum Shop: Assist with the operation of the Museum Shop at the Castellani Art Museum. Receive a 15 % discount in the Shop, meet others involved in supporting the arts and participate in the museum openings and other events.
  • Special Events: Assist with the operation of the Museum Mixers, exhibition openings, and special events.
  • Docent Program: Lead tours for students of all ages and community organizations. Learn about art history and gain experience in public speaking, while helping other understand the beauty and significance of the Castellani's permanent collection.
  • Other volunteer tasks: Help with occassional mailings, art history research, visitor services/reception desk, assisting with workshops for adults and children, assisting museum staff with various projects and fundraising initiatives.
