Sculpture in the 70s
The early masters of modernist sculpture were still very active
in the seventies, as works by Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth demonstrate,
as well as innovative assemblage by Louise Nevelson. The seventies
were also an anarchic time for sculpture, as more and more artists
were using found objects, mixed media, epehmeral media, and combining
studio practice with street practice (Charles Simonds).
