Concrete Art

Concrete Art aims to make an intellectual idea, usually mathematical, into an aesthetic construction by adopting geometrical forms. The artists' touch is subdued in order to create works that look as though they had been made by machine. Geometry is given precedence over nature. Artists associaated with this movement include Hans Arp, Max Bill, and Lucio Fontana.
